Celebrities come and go, and sometimes when they go, they make a lot of noise.
Such is the case when celebrities find themselves in hot water, but getting nicked in public seems to make the celebrity blood boil. The tendency for star worship has enabled these types to feel and act as if the laws that govern the rest of us don’t apply to them.
In most cases, the arrests that made the headlines came about from abusive and or disorderly behaviour. Such is the case with one of the more recent examples of a troubled soul making a splash while in mid-air. Naomi Campbell, world-famous super model with an allegedly volcanic temperature turned up the heat on British Air staff when informed that her carry-on baggage was delayed. Reminded that she was simply not above the law, police were called to escort her from the plane and ticket her for interfering with a flight crew. Post 9-11 rules have changed, and everyone knows it, so it beggars belief that the stars would bring their abusive behaviour to such a sensitive environment. The situation was made even more incendiary when police arrived to make their inquiries, Ms. Campbell rewarded then with a saliva shower, prompting her immediate arrest.
Other celebrities have run afoul of the law, as when rapper DMX was nicked for aiming a verbal tirade over a seatbelt request at aircrew while in final descent to Heathrow. Luckily, he was released with merely a caution. Another world famous rapper has tested the martial waters for various rapperly offenses such as drug possession, weapon possession and various combinations of the two. Mr. Broadus, otherwise known as Snoop Dogg has graced Heathrow’s lock-up as well.
Some of the heated tempers can be attributed to delays of various sorts, but this can al be avoided by booking a room at
Heathrow airport hotels and checking in early.
Heathrow hotels offer excellent customer services for early check-in and pre-flight boarding pass negotiation.
